Breadcrumb Places Privacy Policy

Breadcrumb Places is an iOS app by AWMB Ltd. This policy explains, in plain language, how the app handles location, saved places, optional iCloud sync, subscriptions, and privacy choices.

Effective date: May 12, 2026

1. Information the App May Process

  • Location information when you choose to save a breadcrumb or place.
  • Saved place and log data, such as place names, coordinates, notes, dates, and related app content you create.
  • Optional iCloud sync data if Breadcrumb Plus sync is available and you enable it.
  • App settings and preferences needed to remember how the app is configured on your device.
  • Purchase and subscription entitlement information from Apple or StoreKit, such as whether Breadcrumb Plus Monthly is active, expired, refunded, revoked, or otherwise inactive.
  • AWMB may receive information a user chooses to send directly in support or privacy emails.

2. Location Use

  • Breadcrumb Places requests location only when you save a breadcrumb or place.
  • The app does not continuously track your location in the background unless the app explicitly tells you otherwise and asks for the required permission.
  • Location is used to create, display, organize, and revisit the places you save.
  • You can change location permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

3. Local Data and iCloud Sync

  • Saved places are local by default on your device.
  • If private iCloud sync is available for Breadcrumb Plus and you enable it, saved app data may sync through Apple iCloud and CloudKit under your Apple ID.
  • The production CloudKit container is iCloud.com.awmbltd.Breadcrumb.
  • Breadcrumb also uses the app group group.com.awmbltd.Breadcrumb for app functionality on the user's device.
  • Apple handles iCloud account authentication, storage, sync infrastructure, and related Apple ID controls under Apple's own policies.

4. How Information Is Used

  • To let you save, view, search, organize, and revisit your saved places and logs.
  • To sync app data through iCloud where available and enabled by you.
  • To check whether Breadcrumb Plus Monthly is active, expired, refunded, revoked, or otherwise inactive.
  • To restore access when Apple confirms an active subscription or trial entitlement.
  • To respond to support, privacy, or troubleshooting requests.

5. Purchases and Subscriptions

  • Breadcrumb Places offers Breadcrumb Plus Monthly through Apple, the App Store, and StoreKit.
  • The StoreKit product ID is com.awmbltd.Breadcrumb.plus.monthly.
  • Purchases, renewals, refunds, cancellations, and subscription management are handled by Apple.
  • Users can manage, cancel, or review subscriptions in their Apple ID / App Store account settings.
  • AWMB does not receive full payment card details from Apple.

6. Data Sharing

  • AWMB does not sell user data.
  • AWMB does not use user content for advertising.
  • AWMB does not share user-created Breadcrumb Places content with advertisers.
  • Data may be processed by Apple as needed for iCloud, CloudKit, Apple ID, App Store, payment, and subscription functionality.
  • AWMB may disclose information if required to comply with applicable law or a valid legal request.

7. Managing and Deleting Data

  • You can delete saved places or logs in the app where deletion controls are available.
  • You can delete local app data by deleting the app from your device, subject to normal iOS behavior and backups.
  • If iCloud sync is enabled, you can disable iCloud access for the app or manage iCloud data through iOS and iCloud settings where Apple provides those controls.
  • Disabling iCloud sync may stop future sync, but copies already stored on a device may need to be deleted separately.
  • Deleting app data does not cancel an active App Store subscription.
  • Subscription records, billing history, refunds, and cancellation records are managed by Apple according to Apple's policies.

8. Children's Privacy

Breadcrumb Places is not directed to children under 13. AWMB does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through Breadcrumb Places. If you believe a child has provided information, contact AWMB so the issue can be reviewed.
